Habitat: 166 acres of Oak-Hickory Forest in hilly terrain, Successional Oldfield, Bottomland Hardwood, Open Water, and Restored Prairie. This city park on the west edge of Janesville is managed by the Janesville School District and houses the Janesville Schools Outdoor Lab. 

Best Birds: Red-headed and Pileated Woodpecker, Acadian Flycatcher, Yellow-throated Vireo, Cerulean Warbler, Hooded Warbler, and Scarlet Tanager.

Directions: 2 miles NW of Janesville. 1 mile west of Janesville Country Club on Memorial Drive. Entrance is at the intersection of Austin Road and County Road A (Memorial Drive). Short drive into the park leads to two parking areas (42.707955413979384, -89.07161524947355), the second one larger, each with access to trails, including the Ice Age National Scenic Trail.
