Habitat: Open Water, Mixed Coniferous Forest.
Best birds: The park offers a good view of Green Bay, where large numbers of diving ducks including scoters can be viewed in migration. Caspian and Common Tern can be seen throughout the warm season and loons and grebes stop in spring and fall. Shorebirds are possible during low water levels. The large trees in the campground host Red-headed Woodpecker, Warbling Vireo, and Orchard Oriole, and the mixed forest west of the campground has several breeding species of warblers and other passerines, as well as occasional breeding Merlin.
Directions: 32 miles NNE of Green Bay. Exit US Highway 141 at Frog Pond Road and continue east as it becomes County Road NN. Turn south on County Road N and the park is soon after the turn.
