North Bay Shore Recreation Area, Oconto County, WI, US - eBird Hotspot
Habitat: Open Water, Mixed Coniferous Forest.
Best birds: The park offers a good view to the south into Green Bay and a small breakwall. Waterfowl can be viewed in spring and fall migration and Caspian and Common Tern can be seen in spring and summer. Shorebirds are possible on the breakwall and the adjacent beach. The forest edge across Bay Road hosts typical woodland breeders and can be excellent for warblers and other passerines in migration.
Directions: 41 miles NNE of Green Bay. Exit US Highway 141 at County Road A and continue east for five miles, then proceed north about 6.5 miles on County Road Y, following signs for the park.
