Potosi Boat Landing

Habitat:  Open Water, Marsh.

Best Birds:  Watch for waterfowl, Tundra Swan, White Pelican, and herons.  Look for shorebirds in shallow water and on mud bars.  Bald Eagle are seen sitting on stumps in the river.  Sedge Wren occur along the roadway. From the railroad tracks to the marsh look for Prothonotary Warbler.    

Directions:  85 miles SW of Madison/1 mile west of Potosi. The roadway to the boat landing is an extension of Main St. of Potosi.  The boat landing is at the end of the roadway (42.658943, -90.733118) and is located in the northern portion of the Open Water of Pool 11.
