Habitat:  Oak-Hickory Forest, Southern Hardwoods Forest, Bottomland Hardwoods.

Best Birds:  In the bottomland forest along the entrance road and Sinipee Creek look for herons, Yellow-throated Vireo, Warbling Vireo, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Louisiana Waterthrush, and Prothonotary Warbler.  From the parking lot to the top of the Mississippi River bluffs look for Orchard Oriole, Cerulean Warbler, Blue-wing Warbler, and  Scarlet Tanager in the hardwoods.  From the bluff tops watch for Turkey Vulture and Bald Eagle.  Night owling from the parking lot will produce Barred Owl.  

Directions:  80 miles SW of Madison/2 miles west of Kieler. The best way to get to this 287 acre river bluff site is to exit  U. S. Highway 151 south of Kieler at exit 3 on Eagle Point Drive.  Go west on Bluff Road at bottom of hill.  Access to parking lot is 2.5 miles north at 42.571006, -90.651182.
