Bagley Bottoms

Habitat:  Open Water, Marsh, Cropland, Bottomland Hardwoods.

Best Birds:  Look for Field Sparrow in the cropland along the entrance road.  As you enter the Mississippi River bottomland forest look for Pileated Woodpecker, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Swamp Sparrow, and Prothonotary Warbler.  At the boat landing look for waterfowl, Tundra Swan, White Pelican, shorebirds, and herons.    

Directions: 75 miles S of LaCrosse/1 mile north of Bagley on County Road X, The roadway to the boat landing is at the end of Boehringer Lane (42.908640, -91.123634)
