Habitat: Open Water, Northern Hardwood Forest.
Best Birds: The primary attraction here is the open water of the Upper Pond on the west side of the park which is seasonably attractive to waterfowl including Snow, Greater White-fronted, and Cackling Goose and grebes, as well as gulls, and swallows. Several parking areas provide excellent views of the water. A walk through the woods on the road or walking trail southeast of the pond should produce woodpeckers, flycatchers, vireos, thrushes, sparrows, and warblers,.
Directions: 37 miles WNW of Stevens Point, on the southwest side of Marshfield. The one way drive to the pond is located on the south side of the junction of W. 17th and S. Adams streets on the south side of town.
