Wiouwash Trail - Westwind Road

Habitat: Open Water, Marsh, Cropland, and Residential.

Best Birds: Scan the marsh and water for grebes, waterfowl, gulls, terns, herons, egrets,  American White Pelican, rails, Osprey, Bald Eagle, Marsh Wren, swallows, Swamp Sparrow, and Yellow-headed Blackbird. Check the wooded spots for woodpeckers, flycatchers, thrushes, vireos, orioles, and warblers. 

Directions: Located on the northwest side of Oshkosh, just west of Interstate 41. Use the Westwind Road parking area (44.05761, -88.57788). From there Wiouwash Trail goes north to the water’s edge.
