Habitat: Open Water and Urban.

Best Birds: Scan the lake and bays for loons, grebes, American White Pelican, Double-crested Cormorant, gulls, terns, shorebirds, waterfowl, herons, egrets, Osprey, and Bald Eagle. Check ball diamonds and grassy areas for Caspian Tern and gulls including Bonaparte’s Gull, Glaucous Gull, and Great Black-backed Gull. Check lake ice and ice shoves for Snowy Owl.

Directions: Located on the east side of Oshkosh, on the shore of Lake Winnebago. Park land covers almost 2 miles of shoreline from the end of Washington Street (44.01777, -88.51661) north to the intersection of Menominee Drive and Oaks Trail (44.03716, -88.51064).
