Mascoutin Valley Trail

Habitat: Marsh, Open Water, Non-native Grassland, Successional Oldfield, and Pine Plantation.       

Best Birds: Check the marsh and water for waterfowl, rails, shorebirds, terns, herons, egrets, and Yellow-headed Blackbird. Search the pines and wooded areas for vireos, flycatchers, Red-breasted Nuthatch, warblers, orioles, and grosbeaks.

Directions: Located 16 miles southwest of Oshkosh on Meadow Brook Road. Park along the road near the trail (43.939445, -88.855006).
