Habitat: Bottomland Hardwoods, Alder Swamp, Marsh, Open Water, Restored Grassland, and Urban.

Best Birds: Walking the trails can produce woodpeckers, flycatchers, Barred Owl, vireos, thrushes, Tufted Titmouse, nuthatches, Brown Creeper, sparrows, blackbirds, orioles, and warblers. Check the marsh and ponds for ducks, herons, egrets, rails, and Belted Kingfisher.

Directions: Located 4 miles S of Appleton, on the east side of Menasha on Plank Road (Hwy 114). Park in the nature center’s parking lot (44.21096, -88.41969).
