Habitat: Pine Plantation, Successional Oldfield, Open Water, and Marsh.
Best Birds: Check for waterfowl including Trumpeter Swan, Greater White-fronted Goose, herons, egrets, rails, shorebirds, terns, Northern Harrier, Sedge Wren, Marsh Wren, sparrows, and blackbirds. In winter look for Short-eared Owl, Rough-legged Hawk, and Northern Shrike.
Directions: 29 miles W of Appleton/3 miles southeast of Fremont Park at the end of Schmidt Lane (44.22742, -88.81098).
