Lowney-Rohan Wetlands

Lowney-Rohan Wetlands, Waupaca County, WI, US - eBird Hotspot

Habitat: Cattail Marsh, Agricultural Fields, Successional Oldfield, Open Water. 

Best Birds: In Spring Migration: Tundra Swan, Snow, Ross's, Cackling and Greater White-fronted Goose and a variety of ducks. During the Summer months: Sandhill Crane, Sora, Great Egret, Marsh and Sedge Wren, Swamp Sparrow, and Bobolink use this area.

Directions: 45 miles W of Green Bay/7 miles south of Clintonville. From Highway 45 in Bear Creek go west on Highway 22 one mile to the site on the south side of the road. A gravel road goes into the property from Highway 22 to a parking lot. There is a short boardwalk and overlook of the area.
