Woodpeckers include Yellow-bellied Sapsucker and and Pileated Woodpeckers. The hedgerow along the trail from the parking area to the woods is a good place to look for Ruby-throated Hummingbird. In the woods, Red-breasted Nuthatch may be found and perhaps a Brown Creeper. Flycatchers include Eastern Wood Pewee and Great Crested Flycatcher. You may see, or at least hear resident thrushes like Hermit, Wood, and Veery. Other likely singers are Warbling Vireo and Scarlet Tanager. Warblers include Blackburnian, and Black-throated Green.
