Navarino State Wildlife Area-Townline Road

Habitat: Pine Plantation, Hardwood Swamp, Alder Swamp, Marsh, Successional Oldfield, Sedge Meadow.

Best Birds: Wild Turkey, Ruffed Grouse, Sandhill Crane, Broad-winged Hawk, Alder Flycatcher, and Pine Warbler. Further east on Townline Road: Whip-poor-will, Eastern Towhee, Clay-colored and Vesper Sparrow

Directions: 34 miles NW of Green Bay/11 miles east of Clintonville. At the intersection of McDonald Road with Townline Road there is a small parking area, (44.67758, -88.54422). Bird along the roadside from the intersection to the end of Townline Road about 1.4 miles east. Another parking spot is at the far east end of Townline Rd, (44.67776, -88.51440) where the Navarino Sedge Meadow SNA begins.
