Navarino State Wildlife Area, Lindsten Road Fields

Habitat: Agricultural Fields, Successional Oldfield, Willow Swamp.  

Best Birds: Tundra Swan, Snow, Ross's, Cackling and Greater White-fronted Goose, Black Duck, Sandhill Crane, Horned Lark, Willow Flycatcher. In Spring, there is a flooded area about 100 yards north of Lindsten Road. This area has a good variety of shorebirds and ducks. About 1/2 mile to the east is a grassy field, which has nesting Bobolink and Eastern Meadowlark. 

Directions: 31 miles NW of Green Bay/11 miles east of Clintonville. From the intersection of Highway 156, and McDonald Road go north on McDonald road 1/2 mile to Lindsten Road. Go east on Lindsten Road about 1/2 mile to the site. (44.63323, -88.5352).
