Habitat: Open Water, Pine Plantation, Northern Hardwood Forest, Alder, Willow, Dogwood Swamp.
Best Birds: Various species of waterfowl including loons, upland game birds, woodpeckers, and passerines may be seen at this location including Tundra Swan, Bufflehead, Ring-necked Duck, Ruffed Grouse, Horned Grebe, Common Loon, Bald Eagle, Belted Kingfisher, Pileated Woodpecker, Olive-sided Flycatcher, Blue-headed Vireo, Winter Wren, Brown Creeper, Ruby and Golden-Crowned Kinglet, Field, and Clay-colored Sparrow, Blackburnian, Pine, Mourning, Wilson, and Black-throated Green Warbler.
Directions: 92 miles NW of Wasau/6 miles northwest of Phillips. The park is on West Solberg Lake Road which is reached two miles east of Hwy 13 via Old 13, then three miles northeast to the park entrance.

Open park peninsula surrounded by Solberg Lake, with trails through mature pine plantations leading into aspen and wooded and shrub wetlands. This is a premier Northwoods campground and day-use park located on a 35-acre peninsula extending into Solberg Lake with nearby walking trails along Squaw Creek.
