Habitat: Bottomland Hardwood Forest, Open Water

Best Birds: The hardwood forest surrounding the park often holds Red-shouldered Hawk, woodpeckers, flycatchers, vireos, Tufted Titmouse, thrushes, sparrows, warblers, and Scarlet Tanager. Scan the Wisconsin River for waterfowl and swallows. 

Directions: 5 miles SSW of Stevens Point. In Plover, take River Dr west until it curves north and becomes Park Dr. Follow Park Dr to the park entrance and parking lots.
