Habitat: Open Water
Best Birds: Migratory stopover for variety of waterfowl including Gadwall, American Wigeon, Ring-necked Duck, Canvasback, Bufflehead, Common Merganser, and Ruddy Duck, as well as Great Blue Heron, Great Egret. Northern Harrier and Eastern Meadowlark nest in the area; Upland Sandpiper is irregular.
