Turtle Park is nearly 4-acres, a linear park adjacent to the Milwaukee River estuary. Roughly 3-acres are a planted prairie in a former blighted urban commercial space. There is 1200 feet of river frontage lined with a shrub-car. A planted future riparian forest is working toward controlling a population of invasive reed canary grass. Turtle Park is the southern entrance to the Milwaukee River Greenway, connecting to the larger 878-acre protected urban natural area of Milwaukee County.   Owned by the River Revitalization Foundation.
