Site Address & Additional Information:
Mostly wetland habitats adjacent to the West Twin River. Cattail Trail passes through Alder and willow swamp and sedge meadow to open cattail marsh closer to the river. Proximity to Lake Michigan makes these habitats subject to influence by changing lake water levels. Willow Trail has extensive willow and dogwood swamp, hardwood swamp, grassland and a small pond. The nature center feeders also attract passerines in season.
