Habitat: Marsh, Willow Swamp, Cropland, Open Water.  Permanent and seasonally flooded shallow emergent wetland in an agricultural landscape.  The Pigeon River flows through this site, ensuring seasonal flooding each year.

Best Birds: Very good for spring migrant ducks and geese including Greater White-fronted Goose and Tundra Swan, and a great diversity of shorebirds, including both species of dowitcher, Red-necked Phalarope. Willet and Ruddy Turnstone.

Directions: 59 miles S of Green Bay/about 8 miles east of Kiel, just north of County Line Road on Schwartzwald Road. Park on the shoulder.
