Point Creek Natural Area

Habitat: Open Water with 40-60 foot high bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan, Beach, Northern Hardwood Forest along Point Creek, and densely planted Evergreen Plantation.  The evergreen plantation is gradually being removed and replaced with native deciduous vegetation.

Best Birds: As the area is restored the newly opened spaces lined with evergreens and regrown with native plants will be attractive to migrants. Current unusual nesting species are Red-breasted Nuthatch and Pine Warbler.

Directions: 7 miles south of Manitowoc via County LS (Lakeshore Drive).
