Habitat: Open Water, Hemlock-Hardwood Forest, Northern Hardwood Forest, and Mixed Coniferous Forest.

Best Birds: From the parking area you can walk several trails through the property. Nuthatches, kinglets, and woodpeckers abound along Rabe Creek. Ruffed Grouse can be seen and heard along the trails while various warblers such as Nashville, and Black-and-white can be seen working the edge habitat near the parking lot. Purple Finch, various sparrows, and Pine Siskin, occur here and during irruption years Common Redpoll are likely.   

Directions: 43 miles NE of Wausau/19.6 miles east of Antigo. The entrance to the parking lot is located on the south side of 5th Avenue Road (45.132054, -88.964326) about 0.6 miles west of the intersection with Pavek Road,
