Habitat: Marsh and Open Water.

Best Birds: The open water will contain a diverse sample of dabbling and diving ducks such as Northern Pintail, American Wigeon, Redhead, and Bufflehead. Walking the main berm north from the parking area is good for various marsh birds such as herons, Virginia Rail, Sora, and American Bittern. A good mix of swallows can be found over the water and Black Tern can be in the area as well. Bina is an excellent spot for migrating shorebirds such as plovers, sandpipers, Wilson’s Snipe and American Woodcock

Directions: 32 miles NE of Wausau/8.2 miles northwest of Antigo. A parking area is north of the intersection of Popple Road and Rangeline Road (45.182502, -89.261901) about 1.5 miles west of the intersection with County Hwy H.
