Habitat: Northern Hardwood Forest.

Best Birds:  Typical woodland species can be found here such as Eastern Wood-Pewee, Hermit Thrush, and Northern Parula. Northern Goshawk is regular here.  

Directions: 28 miles ESE of Superior/2 miles west of Brule on US Hwy 2, north 3.15 miles on Clevedon Rd.

Site Address and Additional Information:  

The hiking trail navigates through hardwood forest that passes near historic old copper mines and leads to an overlook of the Lake Superior Clay Plain to the north.
