Robbins Shorebird Waterfowl Protection Area

 Habitat: The 130-acre Robbins Shorebird Waterfowl Protection Area consists of marsh and mudflats surrounded by cropland that is prone to flooding.

Best Birds: Scan the mudflats and flooded fields for shorebirds, including American Golden-PloverBlack-bellied PloverShort-billed Dowitcher, Wilson’s and Red-necked Phalarope. A wide variety of waterfowl and gulls can be found in this area in the spring.

Directions: Two miles north of Beaver Dam. From Highway 151 take exit 136 north on County Road A. Continue north on County Road A until turning north on Jersey Rd. The WPA is located to the west of Jersey Road. The flooded field to the east of Jersey is private property. Parking along Jersey Road and Breezy Point Road is limited to the shoulder.
