Habitat: Southern Hardwoods, Native and Restored Prairie.  

Best Birds: Notable birds include Eastern Wood Pewee, Great-crested Flycatcher, Northern Rough-winged Swallow (nesting in old quarry), Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Brown Thrasher, Pine Siskin, Field Sparrow, American Tree Sparrow, Eastern Towhee, and a great diversity of migrating warblers.

Directions: 29 miles SE of Appleton/20 miles NE of Fond du Lac. Located south of Chilton on Short Road (44.00126, -88.15515).  Trails begin at the parking lot for the nature center building.

Ledge View is a 105 acre park with 3 miles of trails, arboretum, an observation tower, old quarry, caves, and a nature center building with feeders.
