Horkman Marsh and Meadow

Habitat:  Marsh and Wet Meadow in the process of restoration.

Best birds: Dabbling ducks and Hooded Merganser can be present during spring and fall migration. Tundra Swan migrate through in spring. Sandhill Crane are also regular.

Directions: 11 miles SE of Green Bay. From the I-43 E. Mason Street exit go east and then north one block to Finger Road and continue east about 4 miles to Horkman Rd.  Horkman Rd. only goes to the south and dead ends in about ¾ of a mile in a small parking area, (44.48041, -87.85677).  The Baird Creek Preservation Foundation owns the land on both sides of Horkman.
