“Wild Turkeys and Ruffed Grouse : Similarities and Differences in Natural History, Ecology and Biology”. With Alaina Roth, DNR Vilas County Wildlife Biologist based at the Woodruff Service Station
Description of the talk: In this presentation Alaina will be describing two similar, abundant, upland game bird species we have in Wisconsin. Both have unique histories in Wisconsin as well as certain biological niches. Alaina will describe habitat and management techniques suited to best serve each species, where they overlap and where they do not. She will also describe the current state of both species in the state today.
