Milwaukee: Lakefront Birding to Port Washington

This annual field trip will visit a variety of lakefront locations from Milwaukee to Port Washington. We'll check the wintering gull flocks for Lesser and Greater Black-backed Gulls, as well as Glaucous and Iceland Gulls. We also have a good chance of seeing a Snowy Owl along with an assortment of waterfowl, including Long-tailed Duck.This annual field trip will visit a variety of lakefront locations from Milwaukee to Port Washington. Dress warmly and bring your "energy" foods.
Trip registration opens on December 14, 2021.
Initially this event will be open only to WSO members and our field trips are free for members. Non-members are able to sign up within 14 days of the trip for a nominal fee of $10 per adult if spots remain open on trips with attendance limits. Further details about trip logistics will be sent to registrants prior to each field trip.
