Our group will tour by auto to several ponds and flooded fields in this very productive area. Many waterfowl such as Greater White-fronted and Ross’s Geese, and a wide variety of ducks should be present, along with the possibility of pipits, longspurs, sparrows, and others. Our trip typically ends around noon after birding the causeway (CTH. V) on Lake Wisconsin and Rowan Creek Fishery Area near Poynette. Bring a lunch if you wish, as well as a family-band radio (if you have one).

Attendance Limit: 20

Location: Columbia and Dane County Ponds

Trip registration opens on February 27.
