The Noel J. Cutright Bird Club will host its 10th annual Big Sit! at Forest Beach Migratory Preserve all day Sunday Oct. 14. The club, based at the Riveredge Nature Center in Newburg, joins with the Western Great Lakes Bird & Bat Observatory in inviting the public to spend all or part of the day, beginning at 6 a.m., enjoying the sights and sounds of one of Ozaukee County’s outdoor treasures. If you show up for the early morning shift you might even get to sample some incredible pastries supplied by the bird club.
