Door County - Clearing Workshop 2018: Birding Hot Spots
Monday, June 18, 2018 07:00am 02:00pm

Bird watching is an easy, life long hobby with addictive qualities. Join local Naturalist and birder Paul Regnier on two mornings of birding to hot spots. Open to beginners and seasoned birders. Learn or expand your identification techniques, (both visual and auditory) and bird watching skills and knowledge. The two-day workshop starts in a different natural area each day. Depending on conditions, we’ll look for birds until late morning, have lunch at the Clearing and review our morning with eBird and check lists. Information gathered for this class will be used for the Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas. Additional topics to be covered include, equipment, field guides, advanced techniques, and new technologies. Bring binoculars and dress for outdoors both days.
