Book a room now for WSO Convention

The 2023 WSO Convention– our first since 2019! -- will be held at the Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee (https://www.theinglesidehotel.com/), which is near the sprawling, bird-rich Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest and the many prairies, lakes and rivers in the area. The hotel is just an hour’s drive east of Madison and an hour south of Horicon Marsh; it’s even closer to Lake Michigan to the east.

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Ingleside for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, May 18–20, at the special rate of $149 per night plus tax.

Make your reservation by visiting https://reservations.travelclick.com/17743?groupID=3721124 or calling the hotel at 262-547-0201 and mentioning WSO. Rooms will be held at the special rate until April 17. After that, or when all blocked rooms have been reserved, reservations will be provided if rooms are available and at the hotel’s normal rates. Note that the hotel does not offer free breakfast, and this rate does not include access to the water park.

Convention co-chairs Lynn Barber and Christine Reel are working with an enthusiastic committee composed of members of the Benjamin F. Goss Bird Club and WSO to provide an outstanding event. Included will be:
-- Our usual Friday evening picnic
-- An awards ceremony
honoring people who have received awards since our last time together
-- The annual meeting of members
-- Exciting field trips during the height of spring migration
