Habitat: Cropland, Open Water, and Marsh.

Best Birds: Check fields and flooded areas along the river for early spring migrants including Snow Goose, Ross’s Goose, Greater White-fronted Goose, Cackling Goose, Trumpeter Swan, Tundra Swan, dabbling ducks, Sandhill Crane, and yellowlegs. If enough water is present also look for diving ducks and mergansers.

Directions: Twenty miles west of Appleton on County II. Park along County II (44.21056, -88.74977).
