Little Wolf River Trail, Waupaca County, WI, US - eBird Hotspot
Habitat: Bottomland Hardwoods.
Best Birds: This 2-mile out-and-back trail is a pleasant walk along the shoreline of the Little Wolf entirely in deep woods where one might see Common Nighthawk, vireos, Brown Thrasher, Cedar Waxwing, and a variety of warbler species. In Lindsey Park there is a nesting platform for Osprey.
Directions: 37 miles E of Stevens Point/In Manawa, Lindsey Park begins on S. Bridge Street (Hwy N) on the south side of the Little Wolf River just below the dam. The trail begins just south of the last parking lot heading south.
