Habitat: Open Water, Mixed Coniferous Forest, Marsh.
Best Birds: The open water should be checked for Trumpeter Swan, a variety of ducks including Redhead, Common Goldeneye, and scaup, grebes, rails, and Common Loon.
Multiple old and new Bald Eagle nests are visible in the super canopy pines along the far shoreline. Abundant wetland shrub habitat yields Sandhill Crane, Wilson’s Snipe, and both species of bittern.
