Habitat: Hemlock-Hardwood Forest, Hardwood Swamp. This stretch of road has been heavily logged recently and has a combination of large trees and thick understory.
Best Birds: Common Raven, Wood Thrush, Black-throated Blue, Black-throated Green, Chestnut-sided, Hooded and Mourning Warbler, and Scarlet Tanager. Late May to Mid-July is the best time to find the resident warblers in this area.
Directions: 43 miles E of Wausau/10 miles northeast of Bowler. From Bowler go east on Highway A about 2 miles. Then go north on Moh He Con Nuck Road about 3.5 miles. Turn east on River Road and go about 4 miles to Anderson Road. Go northeast on Anderson Road about 1 mile to the site.
