Habitat: Native and Restored Grassland, Dry and Sand Prairie.

Best Birds: Grassland birds such as Upland Sandpiper, Henslow’s Sparrow, Clay-colored Sparrow, Grasshopper Sparrow, and Yellow-breasted Chat can be found.

Directions: 31 miles SW of Madison. From New Glarus travel 7 miles west on Hwy 39. North on York Valley road 0.5 miles to a parking lot with access to the Marbleseed Unit to the northeast (42.84312, -89.76885). Continue west on Hwy 39 for one mile to Hay Hollow Rd to access the west unit of York Prairie SNA (42.840865, -89.788657).
