Habitat:  Conifer Bog, Mixed Coniferous Forest, Northern Hardwoods, Open Water.

Best Birds:  Common Loon nests annually.  Raptors include Bald Eagle, Osprey, and Broad-winged HawkCanada Jay and Boreal Chickadee are occasional, Winter Wren are possible.  A walk or paddle around the lakes may produce various flycatchers, thrushes, and warblers.  Winter finches are present in irruptive years.  Uncommon warblers include Black-and-White, Cape May, Magnolia, Blackburnian, and Canada Warbler.

Directions:  33.5 miles SW of Iron Mountain, MI. Via Florence County Highways N and C to State Highway 101 to US Highway 8 to Wall Road and campground sign. Both Wall and Wozniak Roads leading to the campground are good birding roads. Follow Wall Road to the intersection of Gordon Lake Road and Laura Lake Road to another campground sign, 45.698789, -88.513178.
