Habitat: Open Water, Marsh, Cropland, Residential/Industrial.

Best Birds: Breeding geese, Ruddy Duck and numerous migratory ducks, Virginia Rail, Sora, Least Bittern, Yellow-headed Blackbird. Migrant shorebirds and many species of ducks, geese, and swans in surrounding flooded fields depending on spring conditions.

Directions:  2 miles NW of Eau Claire.  Take N Clairemont Ave/County T north of Eau Claire and turn left on County Line Rd/10th Ave.  Continue to intersection (44.856954, -91.569251) with Kane Rd.  Wetland area is on the south side in Eau Claire Co.  Most flooded areas for shorebirds and waterfowl are in Chippewa Co on the north side of the road within 1 mile east or west and 1/2 mile north of the 10th and Kane intersection.
