Hustisford--Rock River Dam

Habitat: Open Water, Residential. 

Best Birds: When the Rock River levels are low the exposed islands and shoreline are good habitat for shorebird species like Pectoral and Solitary Sandpiper. In the spring a nice mix of waterfowl can be seen in this area.

Directions:  52 miles NW of Milwaukee. From Hwy 60 go north into Hustisford on East Rubicon St. Turn right on Mill St and continue till you reach the intersection with E. Griffith St. and park on the street (43.34449, -88.59714). The land between Griffith St and the river is public access. You may also park at Lions Park on Ann Street just a block west.
