Habitat: Open Water and Bottomland Hardwood.

Best Birds: The primary target is Prothonotary Warbler, which nests along the Rock River. Additionally, cuckoos, woodpeckers, flycatchers, vireos, and Blue-gray Gnatcatcher can be found here.

Directions: 50 miles northwest of Milwaukee. From County Road R to the west or EE from the east turn onto Elwood Road and travel 1.75 miles until you reach the Rock River crossing, 43.29748, -88.57741. Parking along Elwood Road is limited to the shoulder. Bird from the roadside.
