Habitat: Open-Water, Cattail Marsh.
Best Birds: The lake is used by migrating geese, ducks and Horned Grebe. Summer residents include Double-crested Cormorant, American White Pelican, and Marsh Wren.
Directions: 55 miles ENE of Eau Claire. The lake is best viewed from a parking area and dock on Center Avenue, 2 miles north of Owen, ½ mile west of County Road D (44.98753, -90.57172). Also check the spillway from the lake to Brick Creek on County D (44.98409, -90.55705).
