Due to area conditions, this field trip was rescheduled (from March 21) to March 28. Registration is now available through March 26.

Our group will tour by car caravan to several ponds and flooded fields in this very productive area. A wide variety of waterfowl (ducks, swans, Greater White-fronted, Cackling and Ross’s Geese), early shorebirds, and migrant passerines – including American Pipit and Lapland Longspur. Our trip typically ends around noon after birding the causeway (CTH V) on Lake Wisconsin, and we make take a hike at Rowan Creek Fishery Area. Bring a bag lunch.

Please note that pre-registration on the WSO website is now required for field trip attendees, which includes the signing of waivers. Trip details will be emailed to registrants upon registration.
