Start at 6am on the Bill Cowart Memorial Hawk Watch Platform in NE corner of the preserve.  Birders welcome to join anytime throughout the day.

 The Noel J. Cutright Bird Club, in cooperation with the Western Great Lakes Bird and Bat Observatory, will host its 14th annual Big Sit! at Forest Beach Migratory Preserve, five miles north of Port Washington, on Saturday, Oct. 8.

This year the event is also part of programing by the Ozaukee Washington Birding Coalition, an umbrella organization promoting bird conservation and educational awareness. The coalition consists of the Lac Lawrann Conservancy, Riveredge Nature Center, Mequon Nature Preserve, the Friends of the Cedarburg Bog, and the Cutright Bird Club.
