The BIPOC Birding Club of WI is hosting its first local birding tour on Saturday, July 24th. We will be going back to where this all began, the Nine Springs E-way in Madison, WI. This is a hidden gem in the Madison area for birding in the summer months, and we can't wait to take you all on an exciting Wisconsin birding adventure. We hope to see a wide variety of migrating shorebirds and waterfowl, herons, cranes, egrets, eagles, hawks, wrens, flycatchers, swallows, and much more! ?
Meet us at the Nine Springs parking lot located at 1949 Moorland Road at 8 am to prepare for the tour at 9 am. Bring your binoculars if you have a pair, or inbox Jeff or Dexter, and they can arrange to get you a pair to use for the birding tour. No experience is required, just a desire to explore and learn more about the birds, flowers, and wildlife of natural Wisconsin. This tour is family-friendly and open to anyone who shares our values for creating a more equitable and inclusive outdoor experience for everyone in Wisconsin. ??
