More details and registration found here. We are pleased to welcome Frank Ujazdowski, Erin Giese, and Janet Wissink as the guest speakers of our banquet. Co-founders of Project SOAR: Snowy Owl Airport Rescue, Frank, Erin, and Janet will share their story about this new regional effort to protect Snowy Owls from conflict at area airports. Founded in January 2018, the mission of Project SOAR is to rescue and relocate overwintering Snowy Owls and other raptors from airports where they pose as hazards. Frank, the Lead Project Volunteer Falconer, will demonstrate the techniques for the safe capture and relocation of these birds. Janet is President of Winnebago Audubon and initially got this effort started with Frank. Erin is President of NEW Audubon and the Senior Research Specialist at the UW-Green Bay Cofrin Center for Biodiversity. Please join us for this special presentation!
