Located on the shore of Lake Michigan, Forest Beach Migratory Preserve offers prospective hawk watchers a fantastic opportunity to spot raptors overhead. Raptor Educator, Ian Dorney, will assist participants in the identification of migrating raptors.
In order to maintain social distancing, you will need to provide your own transportation to and from Forest Beach Migratory Preserve. Due to the nature of hawk watching, patience, binoculars, and a light jacket are necessary. Further details and directions will be emailed to registered participants prior to the trip.
